Roller Shades

Roller shades are an excellent window treatment option for many solar control applications, providing a wide choice of systems, styles and fabrics. With a premium being placed on the “clean/minimal” look in many of today’s architecture and design standards, roller shades have quickly become the preferred window covering of modern interiors. That’s because roller shades control sun, heat and glare while also minimizing bulky hardware and the fabric stacks associated with other window treatments. They can also be recessed or fitted with a valance to hide the roller mechanism that lifts each shade.
The wide variety of specialty fabrics available for roller shades gives this window treatment option maximum flexibility in meeting design objectives, both functionally and aesthetically. Choices include solar control sunscreen, privacy/translucent, and room darkening blackout materials. Yet they can be fashionable as well as functional. Recently many manufacturers have begun offering decorative designer fabrics to further enhance the aesthetic range of these durable shades. LEED certified “green” fabrics are also available. We offer a large variety of control options for motorized roller shades, which can include seamless integration into most lighting, audio visual, home automation, and home theatre systems. Complete daylight control is as simple as a touch of a button. Manual shades are available with the classic and reliable stainless steel pull chain. For sun control, for privacy, and for room darkening, roller shades are today’s window treatment of choice.
